1921 Tonopah Mining Strike
Doctrine of Criminal Anarchy

Location: Tonopah, Nevada

Date: 1921

Nevada had seen great mining booms and great mining depressions. Post World War I was not good! But a bill passed by Senator Key Pittman offered silver mining a great boom. And the miners wanted part of that boom. Owners wanted the miners to actually take a cut in pay and a strike occurred!
